Club Vacancies: Media, Marketing, Merchandise & Ticketing Roles

Aldershot Town are recruiting three key roles for the 2018-19 season as the Club expands its marketing, communications and ticketing operations.

Vacancies include to full-time roles, for Marketing Officer and Ticketing and Merchandise Officer, plus a part-time Communications Officer.

The Marketing Officer will deliver the Club’s marketing plan to ensure targets are achieved across match attendances, ticketing, hospitality, events, merchandise, academy and services.

Managing day-to-day relationships, and with insight and design as integral elements of all campaigns, the Marketing Officer will work with a variety of key stakeholders ensuring all promotions and key sales dates are met and to brand guidelines. The Officer will also deliver all CRM marketing campaign activity for the Club to maximise Click-Through Rates and return on investment, lead the development of a membership scheme, manage themed matchday and fan experience promotions, and support the work of The Shots Trust. Click here for a full job description.

The Ticketing and Merchandise Officer will lead all aspects of Aldershot Town’s ticketing and merchandise strategy to meet annual targets, including overseeing the implementation of the Club’s new online ticketing platform. The successful candidate will manage the Club shop, recruit and manage matchday ticket office and turnstile staff, produce the Directors’ Box seating plan and collate all complimentary tickets for all matches including Chelsea Academy fixtures. The Communications Officer will manage all media content for the Club, including home matchdays, the distribution of press releases, maintenance of the Club website, social media pages and scoreboard advertising, production of first-team interviews and editing of match footage. Salary for all roles is £18,000pa, with the Communications Officer paid pro rata at 50%.
