SHOTS FOUNDATION COMMUNITY AWARENESS WEEK DRAWS TO A CLOSE

Our Shots Foundation Community Awareness Week may now have finished but all of the brilliant work the Foundation does will continue!

This week, we’ve learnt about some of the projects and initiatives run by the Shots Foundation for our local community and along the way, have met some of the amazing people that help to run them.

On Monday, Dave Shaw gave us some more information about the Sight Loss Soccer sessions. You can find out more about these and watch the interview with Dave HERE

Tuesday saw us hear from Shots Foundation Trustee Kay Khan and Mick Mills of the Royal British Legion about the work being done with the military, and in particular our Veterans Hub. Click HERE for more information and to watch their chat.

On Wednesday, Shots Foundation Lead Coordinator Jamie MacAllister spoke about the Foundation’s Schools Programmes – including After School Clubs and Holiday Camps. You can learn more about them and watch his interview HERE
