Today, we’re learning about the Matchday Experience the Shots Foundation provides!

Shots Foundation Vice Chair Paul Marcus spoke to Shots Foundation Chair of Trustees, Sir John Casey about the Community Stand, the Foundation Marquee and other initiatives and projects going on when the Shots are in action at the EBB Stadium – you can watch their chat HERE

The Community Stand Scheme sees up to 250 free tickets distributed amongst local schools, junior sports clubs, charities and community groups to focus on engaging with the Shots of tomorrow!

If you’re part of one of those groups and would like to request Community Stand tickets, please complete the form via the following link:

As part of our pre-match and matchday experience, we have our own dedicated fanzone. You will find our fanzone on the right once you go through the turnstiles on an Aldershot Town FC matchday.

  • Fanzone Marquee – as part of the experience, we have a fanzone marquee which gives our fans the opportunity to practice their shooting in our target practice goal. It also has two table tennis tables to be used by all!
  • Shots Mini Pitch – we have recently received and debuted our new fanzone activity, the Shots Mini Pitch. Thanks to a generous donation from Qualcomm, we were able to add another activity for our fans to enjoy before a matchday. Our Shots Mini Pitch is perfect for 1v1 or 2v2 matches to get you in the mood for the main event at 3pm.
  • Face painting – we offer Shots-themed face painting outside of the marquee on a matchday for our young shots to enjoy and get them in Shots colours before the game!

Another matchday experience we offer our young shots is the opportunity to be a flag waver before the game begins at 3pm. Our flag wavers take centre stage on the pitch before kick-off where they welcome the players as they come out through the tunnel and onto the pitch.

If you would like you child to enjoy the experience, look out for a member of the Shots Foundation team on the day!
