The ATFC Academy consists of the Foundation Phase (U9-U12) and Youth Development Phase (U13-U16). Our U9’s to the U16’s combine training twice a week with a weekly games programme against other national league and local clubs, as well as a football league academy games programme.
The U9’s-U12’s play weekly fixtures on Sunday in the West Surrey Youth League and the U13’s-U16’s play in the JPL One League. The U16’s also have opportunities to play in the Bostik Youth League. and Allied Counties Youth League.
The U9-U16 have UEFA and FA Licensed coaches who deliver sessions in line with the ATFC Game model & philosophy which aims to develop and push players as far as they can. All academy players have the opportunity to extend their training programme through our development centre programme such as Futsal. All players have access to our physiotherapist and frequent workshops covering topics such as Sports Psychology, Strength & Conditioning, Mindset, Philosophy and many more.
At the Aldershot Town FC Academy we have a two-tiered Player Progression Pathway which allows players to develop at their own speed and progress to the next level if and when they are ready.
The process begins at our around Hampshire & Surrey. With the top tier of the Player Progression Pathway being the Academy itself.
We welcome new players to the Academy, and if you think you’re of a high enough standard to join, visit the Academy Trials page to set up a trial for yourself.
