Aldershot Town have been advised of likely disruption to the journeys of supporters travelling to Wrexham this weekend.
Due to essential repairs, the northbound carriageway of the M6 between junctions 6 (Spaghetti Junction) and 8 (RAC building, Walsall), to the north-west of Birmingham, will be restricted to ONE operational lane from 7am to 8pm. There will also be night-time closures on this section of the motorway, as well as daytime restrictions from the A34 and onto the northbound sliproad at junction 7 (Great Barr).
To avoid this area, the Highways Agency advise using either the M42 and M5 North, or the M6 Toll. Real-time traffic information is available via the Traffic England website here or by following @highwaysWMIDS on Twitter.
