Wellesley & Shots Foundation Invite New Residents To EBB

The Shots Foundation and Aldershot Town’s back-of-shirt sponsors Grainger plc have teamed up to provide the opportunity for all new Wellesley home residents to support their local football club.

The Foundation are offering residents of the new development a free family ticket to come and cheer on The Shots in an exciting end to the season.

Wellesley is a new neighbourhood built on Aldershot’s iconic former military barracks, which are being transformed into a collection of 3850 modern homes and appealing public spaces for generations to come.

Carla Norton, Community Development Manager at Grainger plc, commented: “This link up with the Shots Foundation has enabled our Wellesley residents to be welcomed into Aldershot Town Football Club, which sits at the heart of the Aldershot Community.

“The Shots Foundation are keen to welcome new residents to Aldershot with an opportunity to come down and experience a match at the EBB Stadium. We hope that this potential first visit to a game may result in further visits and, who knows, will perhaps even help to create a long-term fan!”

The Shots Foundation look forward to the next phase of Wellesley homes towards the end of the year, where they will look to extend this offer.

Founded in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 1912, Grainger plc is the UK’s largest listed residential property owner and manager, well-known for its for long-term investment and community partnerships. Their Wellesley development is providing homes for the whole community, from affordable housing through to shared ownership and private rentals and sales.
