Youth Development Phase
The Youth Development Phase is where you start to put the technical base built in the foundation phase together with new tactical elements. These age groups U13-U16 consist of players recruited within and around the local areas and those who have come through the foundation phase.
Aldershot Town FC Youth Development Phase will train at state of the art facilities, being based at Weydon School, Farnham with matches to be played there or at Surrey Sports Park, Guildford.
The Youth Development Phase will compete in the Junior Premier League and the National League Scheme. These teams will also represent the club in the Hampshire Cup. Based around the mission statement:
“With integrity we uphold our values of Humility, Endeavour, Discipline and Respect to enable youth players the transition into our first team.”
The Youth Development Phases aim is to produce U16 players that can push on into the Professional Development Phase becoming fulltime players and ultimately becoming first team players of the future.
