We’d like to thank Surplus to Supper for supplying our first-team with food this week and in doing so, we were delighted to support the charity’s ‘Buy One Feed One Free’ initiative.
Surplus to Supper are a North Surrey and London based charity that sources and redistributes surplus food that would otherwise have gone to waste.
The charity currently collect and donate on average 10 tons of food per week and redistribute to foodbanks, schools, care homes, shelters, clubs, refuges, religious organisations and more.
They also operate a Surplus Cafe and Surplus Shop using their redistributed ingredients to raise money for their charitable branch, and cater for events in which each meal bought provides a free meal for charity.
