Ahead of our visit to Woking on New Year’s Day, we’d like to remind supporters that away tickets have SOLD OUT. We’d like to thank you for your brilliant support of the club in selling out our initial allocation and extra allocation so quickly and look forward to being backed by over 1000 Shots.
However, following the behaviour of a minority on our Boxing Day game with Woking at the EBB Stadium, strict security will be in place at the Laithwaite Community Stadium and travelling supporters are advised to arrive earlier as checks and searches will be in place.
Please be reminded that anyone caught with pyrotechnics will face a ban and could end up with a criminal record. Any prohibited items found will be confiscated upon entry and any Aldershot supporters found in any home support area will be ejected without refund.
Extra information ahead of the fixture can be found below; all information is from Woking FC:
“We can confirm that the away allocation has been sold out and there will be absolutely no pay on the day for Aldershot supporters.”
“Away fans found to have entered the ground on the home side will be ejected from the ground. No refunds will be issued.”
“Please arrive early as all fans will be wristbanded to ensure seating and standing capacities are maximised and consistent with directives from our safety officer. As you prepare to enter the queues, please ensure that you are in the “Away Seated” or “Away Fans / Away Standing” queue based on your ticket. All fans are advised to arrive early due to additional security screenings.”
“All fans are advised to arrive early due to additional security screenings. Anyone arriving less than 30 minutes prior to the start of the match will risk missing kick-off.”
“All fans are advised to read our Ground Rules and Regulations for Fan Behaviour at the Laithwaite Community Stadium. The information can be found here. Bottle tops will be removed upon entry and at catering outlets, and all prohibited items will be confiscated upon entry – this includes golf umbrellas and musical instruments (including drums).”
“Please be advised that any fan caught trying to gain entry into the Laithwaite Community Stadium, or found to be responsible for deploying such items as smoke bombs, fireworks, flares or any other pyrotechnics will receive a non-negotiable lifetime ban. Note this is also a Criminal Offence and likely that culprits will receive a football banning order via the Courts.”
