SHOTS VS MAIDENHEAD: Remembrance Fixture

Tomorrow’s Vanarama National League game with Maidenhead United will be the Club’s annual Remembrance Fixture.

Before kick-off we will be honouring the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

We ask supporters attending the game to arrive earlier than normal as a result of the pre-match precessions and to show the utmost respect in observation.

As part of the Clubs commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant and the military community in and around Rushmoor, Aldershot Town Football Club have worked with The Aldershot Royal British Legion to co-ordinate this afternoons Remembrance Parade prior to the game.

It is hoped that Standards representing The Royal British Legion, The Royal Naval Association, The Royal Air Force Association, The Parachute Regiment Association (Pegasus) and The Royal Hampshire Regiment will be joined by Cadet Standards from The Sea Cadets, Army Cadets, Air Training Corps and the Combined Cadet Forces.

This shows the Clubs determination to integrate with our Armed Forces at all levels within the community.

If you require any information or wish to join any of the organisations on parade today, please email Aldershotrbl@hotmail.com and they will forward to the appropriate organisation.
