Last month Gary Waddock led one particularly high-octane training session with a team-bonding trip to Team Sport’s Go-Karting track in Farnborough.
Organised in conjunction with Spedeworth Motorsports, who organise stock car racing at the Aldershot Raceway every Sunday from 1pm, and club co-founder Terry Owens, the afternoon was a huge success – if a little bit of a surprise to the players, who had no idea what was in store until they arrived at the track!
Gavin Botfield, of Spedeworth Motorsports, said: “On behalf of Spedeworth it was a pleasure to be involved, and great to see everyone with a smile on their face. There was some great racing out there but we were all shown up by the youngest driver, 13 year-old Harry!”
