Aldershot Town have extended the loan of striker Dan Holman from Colchester United until 5 January 2015.
The 24 year-old, who joined The U’s in the summer from Braintree Town, has scored two goals in three Vanarama Conference appearances for The Shots.
Manager Andy Scott said: “Dan’s work-rate, assists and goals have been key to us. He’s been a catalyst to get us moving again, and I think everybody has sparked off that. He’s a great lad and I love having him here – he enjoys his work and he’s loving playing football again. He could easily stay at Colchester, playing for their reserves, but he just wants to play football.
“To extend his loan until January is a big thing for us, and we’re hopeful that we may be able to revisit it in the New Year and keep him here for the rest of the season.”
