Aldershot Town will host Eastbourne Borough in the fourth qualifying round of the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday 15 October after The Sports overcame Hadley in Wednesday night’s third qualifying round replay.
Hadley took a shock early lead but Borough came roaring back to ultimately win with relative ease, including two goals from Nat Pinney.
The Sports previously snuck through against Metropolitan Police in the Second Qualifying Round but prior to tonight’s replay were on a run of just one win in six games in all competitions which has left Tommy Widdrington’s team 14th in National League South.
Borough feature two former Shots in their current squad, in defender Ian Simpemba and striker Jamie Taylor.
