Shirt Raffle Raises £1300

Aldershot Town’s end-of-season shirt raffle has raised £1300 for Barry Smith’s playing budget.

All 65 match-worn shirts have been purchased, with Barry himself making the draw on Tuesday morning.

The first two names drawn were Anthony Batson – who won Tristan Plummer’s light blue number 15 shirt – and Stuart Griffiths, who won Jim Stevenson’s home shirt.

All entrants will be contacted directly in the next 48 hours, with shirts available for collection from Wednesday morning. Payment has not yet been taken from supporters who wished to pay by credit or debit card, and the Club requests that, if possible, cash is paid upon collection.

Last season’s raffle also raised £1000 for the Club, adding £2300 to the first-team budget in 12 months.
