Aldershot Town Football Club is delighted to announce the loan signing of Bolton Wanderers Centre Back, Sam Inwood.
Sam, 20, signed his first professional contract with Bolton in 2023, before making appearances for the first-team in the EFL Trophy and subsequently in league one.
Sam told Shots TV: “I’m buzzing to be here and get my first loan. Obviously I’ve been with Bolton for a while and been in and around the first team, but I’m really excited to get out there and play some regular mens football.”
Manager John Coleman was delighted to get Sam through the door: “The calibre of football that we know he is capable of, having played in league one, can really benefit us. When we spoke, he didn’t hesitate at the opportunity to come and play for us, showing how keen he is. Hopefully he can hit the ground running.”
Sam joins us on a season-long loan, and is eligible to play for Aldershot Town in the FA Cup 1st Round Proper this weekend.
