Iain Ross Stands Down As Club Director

Aldershot Town have reluctantly accepted the resignation of Iain Ross from the Club’s Board of Directors.

An experienced international businessman with more than 35 years’ experience, Iain was appointed to the Board in November 2016 but is standing down due to extended work commitments.

“It was a very hard decision,” admitted Iain (pictured above), “but sadly outside of my control. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as a Director of this wonderful Club, and will remain an active supporter. I wish the Club every success for the rest of this season and into the future and will be happy to help in whatever way I can.”

“We are very sorry to have received Iain’s resignation but fully understand his reasoning,” continued Chairman Shahid Azeem. “He has brought great value to the Club with his experience and expertise but, while we are sad to lose him from the Board, I am pleased that he will remain a shareholder, season ticket holder and committed supporter of Aldershot Town, as well as a friend of mine and a valuable sounding board for our future endeavours. On behalf of my fellow Directors, I thank Iain for what he has given to the Club.”
