The Shots return to the EBB Stadium on Saturday 11 September and as ever, there’s a copy of The Shots, Aldershot Town’s match day programme to accompany your game day viewing.
Front and centre this week is Giles Phillips and the central defender explains just why he chose to return to the EBB and what he enjoys most about being a defender, along with telling us what he does in his downtime. There are another two player profiles from the Oldershots Walking Football team, updates from the Academy, Supporters Club and Shots Foundation and two pages of puzzles in Fun with the Phoenix.
In addition, there are the regular columns from Lewis Kinsella, Danny Searle and the directors, this time with Waleed Khan, and six pages of At the Match information and photos. A Promotion Without a Trophy moves into September of 1993 and the first of the Shots’ cup matches, a return to playing Clapton FC, and new columnist Nick Cansfield brings us his take on his recent trip to Notts County, accompanied as ever by his extended group of travelling companions.
Along with five pages of visitor information on Solihull Moors, updated match and player stats, The Shots is yours for £3! Don’t forget to pick up your copy from just inside the turnstiles when you enter the ground.
