PROGRAMME PREVIEW: Morecambe (H)

It’s Bank Holiday Monday football at the EBB Stadium today, the visitors Morecambe, and as ever, there’s a packed edition of Shots, our match day programme, to complement your match day viewing.

Shots is full of all your favourite features, columns and articles. Manager Tommy Widdrington and Chairman Shahid Azeem start things off with their columns, there’s four pages of photos and stats from last week’s match with Eastleigh, and there’s also Nick Cansfield’s View From the Slab; this time he’s thinking about appropriate significant birthday celebrations as a football supporter, and Trevor Knell’s thoughts on the non-league game, particularly about Shots’ opponents, Morecambe.

The Supporters Club let us know about what’s going on with the ATSC and the Shots Foundation continue their update of their summer activities. Michael Lipscombe has pics of more supporters wearing their Aldershot Town merchandise on the Take a Shot page and Sam Carter asks the key questions of Marcus Dewhurst in the Alphabet Game.

New signing and scorer of Shots’ fifth goal on Saturday, Jed Meerholz, explains what it’s like to finally be playing first team football in our In Conversation With… feature, there’s a close look at our visitors, Morecambe with Luke Maunder, Rob Worrall has some brilliant pictures of Shots supporters in Fanzone and Paul Marcus offers us two further ‘listicles’ on the subject of former Aldershot players whose names begin with ‘W’ and ‘Home and Garden’ Shots..

Along with our latest looking back feature, Gary Who?, the story of the 2007-08 season, and two pages of puzzles, Shots is available in the ground from our brilliant programme sellers. Don’t forget your copy!
