Poppy Appeal Collection

Aldershot Town would like to thank our supporters and that of Bradford City for helping to collect £615.71 on behalf of The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

The money was a total of what had been collected by Legion staff in their collection buckets that were located around the EBB Stadium in our 1-1 Emirates FA Cup draw with Bradford.

Secretary of the Aldershot branch of The Royal British Legion, Mick Mills had this to say: “Our branch would like to thank Aldershot Town FC for allowing us to collect for the Poppy Appeal at the recent FA Cup game against Bradford City.

“Despite the best efforts of the weather, the collection was very successful raising a total of £615.71. We would like to thank the club and its supporters for their continued support and generosity.

“Without your help, we would be unable to continue our vital welfare and benevolent work.”

The club would also like to thank anybody that donated on the day and would encourage anyone who would like to donate to the Poppy Appeal to click HERE.
