Nightingale joined the Shots in August 2025.
The 30-year-old joined the club as a free agent, having left AFC Wimbledon in June following two seasons on loan with Ross County in the Scottish Premiership.
Nightingale joined the Wombles at the age of nine, just two years after the phoenix club’s formation. Rising through the academy, he would eventually make his league debut for the side in January 2015, and would go on to make over 200 appearances for the Dons, 175 of which coming in the Football League.
