Armitage joined the Shots on loan from Southampton in January 2025.

The defender featured against the Shots in the 24/25 National League Cup campaign for Southampton U21s before joining the Shots.

Armitage joined the Saints as a 16-year-old having already mad his senior debut for Cheltenham Town and becoming their youngest-ever appearance maker at the time.
