Pavey Extends Shots Loan

Aldershot Town have extended the loan of Millwall striker Alfie Pavey until Wednesday 2 March.

The 20 year-old has scored two goals in three appearances since joining The Shots on 8 January and will now be eligible for at least a further four matches.

“I’ve had a good start at Aldershot Town and I’m more than happy to extend my time here,” admitted Pavey, whose progress is being closely monitored by Lions manager Neil Harris. “I’ve scored two goals already, and I wasn’t expecting that, so it’s gone well for me so far.

“Hopefully I can continue that form in the next month. All the lads are buzzing at the moment, and they’ve made me feel very welcome. Now I want to help us continue this winning run and move up the table.

“I went in to The Den this morning to see the Millwall lads, and they’re all happy for me that I’m doing well. Now it’s down to me to keep that going and kick on from here.”
