One Game One Community Event at Aldershot Town!

Fans for Diversity would like to invite you to a ‘ One game One community ‘evening at Aldershot Town Football Club on Sunday 10th October.

The EBB Lounge doors will be opened to bring together football stakeholders, fans and the community for an evening of networking, food, discussion and celebration.

Working in partnership with The Football Supporters Association, Kick It Out, Aldershot Town FC, UK Nepal Friendship Society and the OCHD (One Community Hampshire & Dorset) believe football has the power to deliver positive change to bring people together.

There are many challenges in the UK in regard to diversity and inclusion and our ‘One game One community event ‘ will highlight how together we can influence a positive future where stadiums around the country reflect the cities and towns in which they sit.

Please join over 100 people at the club in what will be a great evening. More details are available below:

Our event programme shows the expected running order and list of panel speakers:

5:30pm – Doors open at the stadium and everyone will be directed to the EBB Lounge

6:00pm – Welcome and opening speeches from Shahid Azeem Aldershot Chairman, Lord Rammy Ranger CBE, Parminder Saini Judge & US attorney

6:20pm – Classical dance by DR Ragasudha Vinjamuri

6:30pm – Dinner (buffet Style)

7:30pm – A panel discussion hosted by Anwar Uddin (FSA) will discuss all things football, community, equality & inclusion. Our panel will consist of:

· Tony Burnett, CEO at Kick It Out

· Dal Darroch, Head of Equality & Inclusion at the FA

· Alan Mercel-Sanca, CEO at the UKNFS

· Parminder Saini, Barrister and US Attorney

· Max Kouhyar, Hereford FC & Afghanistan Player
