Aldershot Town are recruiting a full-time Office Administrator to work as part of a small team at the EBB Stadium.
IT literacy is essential, with a knowledge of Microsoft Excel and maintaining spreadsheets an advantage. Applicants must be able to work under pressure and prioritise work, and have a good sense of humour. This role will also involve some evening and weekend work on matchdays.
Job Spec:
Commercial Department:
Create and maintain database of hospitality clients, producing attendance spreadsheets for each home fixture
Liaise with customers to confirm attendance and dietary requirements for each match
Send welcome letter to new customers
Liaise with our Accounts Department on payment of outstanding commercial and hospitality invoices
Forward details of hospitality packages to opposition clubs
Produce and print matchday menu and table-plan
Submit list of hospitality attendees to Club Secretary
Liaise with team mascots on supply of kit and matchday schedule
Distribute matchday photographs to match sponsors and mascots
Office duties:
Customer service, including sale of club merchandise and match tickets
Telephone enquiries
Efficient management of admin email account
Receiving and sending post
Open and close the front office / Club Shop
Reconciliation of ticket sales
Club Shop:
Stock control and liaison with Club kitman on stock orders
Monthly stock checks
Maintenance and management of online Club Shop, including addition of new items
Preparation and packaging of mail order items
Match day:
Ticket sales
Customer service
General admin duties
Possible reconciliation of matchday income
