The Vanarama National League board have released information that states the planned start date for the 2020/21 season will be Saturday, 3rd October 2020.
Final league matches are scheduled to take place on Saturday, 29th May 2021, with the end-of-season play-offs following in June.
This is all subject to FA approval.
The board have issued a five-step protocol for clubs to follow, based on the government’s COVID-19 guidance regarding recreational activities, for each team to determine when they will resume training and schedule friendly matches.
Due to potential government guidelines, regulations such as reduced capacity and advanced ticketing may have to be implemented, but more information will be communicated in due course.
