Meet this season’s B-Team!

We are pleased to announce the retention of several of our young players for the forthcoming season.

Following a 2024/2025 season that saw Academy graduates Ashley Akpan, Maxwell Mullins and Keane Anderson cement themselves with the First Team – and B-Team players Joe Lewis-Evans, Zion Nditi and Billy Walsh make their senior debuts – we are pleased to announce the retention of our next group of B-Team players for the coming season. Many of whom will be familiar to Shots fans who have followed the First Team closely over pre-season.

Joe Lewis Evans

Joe has had his contract extended with the club for the forthcoming season. Joe is entering his 12th season with Aldershot Town having joined at Under 11s. He returned for pre-season with the First Team having spent last season on loan at Badshot Lea and has featured regularly throughout the pre-season fixture programme.

Harry Thorpe

Harry is another B-Team player whose contract has been extended for the coming season and has featured in the early First-Team pre season games. Having joined from Grimsby Town two seasons ago, Harry enhanced his reputation locally through a very successful loan spell at Moneyfields last season, scoring 10 goals and claiming 10 assists in his five months at the club.

Toby Nelson

Following an injury hit 2024/2025 season, Toby is another whose contract has been extended for this season. Toby is in his fourth season at Aldershot Town and most recently featured in the First-Team’s opening pre-season fixture against Badshot Lea, scoring the fourth goal of the game. A former England Schoolboy international, Toby will be the captain of the B-Team for the coming season.

Mark Holley

Mark is also entering his fourth season with Aldershot Town and remains with the club for another year following the extension of his contract. Mark’s 2024/2025 was also curtailed with serious injury following a promising start whilst on loan at Sandhurst Town, where he scored three in his first four games from midfield and registered five assists before his injury ended his season. Mark was on the scoresheet for the First Team last season in their Hampshire County Cup tie against Newport (IoW).

Charlie Sell

Charlie also remains with the B-Team for another year, entering his third year associated with Aldershot Town. The attacking midfielder spent part of last season on loan with Sandhurst Town netting five times during his time on loan, as well as featuring in the B-Team’s run to the semi-final of the District Cup.

Maddox McMillan

Maddox rejoins Aldershot Town having been with the Academy for two years at Under 18s and was part of the Under 18s team that lifted the Hampshire County Cup. Maddox spent last season with Reading’s Under 21s, before returning to the Shots in the summer on a contract for the coming season. Maddox is another who has already featured with the First Team during this pre-season.

Kaden Hughes

Central defender, Kaden Hughes, will be a familiar face to those who have followed our First-Team’s pre-season closely, having featured regularly throughout. Kaden has been with the club since under 14s and has regularly played up an age group throughout his time with us. He signs his first professional deal with us for the coming season.

Lewis Hillary

Central Midfielder, Lewis Hillary, also signs his first professional contract with us for this season. Lewis has been with Aldershot Town since joining from Chelsea at under 15s. Like Kaden, he is another who has regularly played up an age group throughout his time with us.

Felix Hills

Felix is entering his fourth season at Aldershot Town having joined at Under 16s from local side Camberley Town. Felix scored 23 goals in 27 games last season in the Under 18s and signs his first professional deal for the coming season.

In addition, B-Team goalkeeper Alex Walder also remains with the First-Team for the forthcoming season. Harrison Davey and Maxwell Chinyere also remain with the Academy and are joined by Jude Sullivan, Hadif Darwysh (joining from The New Saints) and Callum Hamnett (joining from Notts County).

The players will next be seen in action on Friday 15th August as they play local rivals Woking in the Suburban League curtain-raiser at the SB Stadium (kick-off 7:45pm).
