GENERAL INFORMATION
Ahead of Saturday’s Isuzu FA Trophy Semi-Final with Woking, we must urge supporters to arrive much earlier than usual. With extra security checks in action and a sold out crowd, it will take much longer than usual to enter the EBB Stadium.
Turnstiles will open at 11am and there will be extra security checks both inside and outside of the Stadium. There will also be specific turnstiles in the home end for each area of the ground as follows:
- Turnstiles 1-4 for South Stand and Mike Pusey Community Stand
- Turnstiles 5-8 for East Bank
- Turnstiles 9-10 for North Stand
These turnstiles and their corresponding areas will all be appropriately sign-posted on the day. Those with tickets queuing in the wrong turnstile will not be accepted and will cause further delays.
With the EBB Stadium expected to be at full capacity, we are delighted to be offering more facilities throughout the ground.
With the Phoenix Bar behind the South Stand closed to the public for Hospitality for this fixture, there will be an outside bar available on the front green.
The JML Bar and Hogs Back Builders East Bank Bar will still be open as normal.
The HotShots Cafe and North Stand Burger Van will be open as usual, with an additional Burger Van open up by the East Bank. We will also have a new food cart on the front green, serving authentic Nepalese cuisine. With sunny weather expected, we will also have an ice cream van on arrival into the ground.
Extra toilets will be provided with portaloos behind the Southwest Standing terrace, and behind the East Bank.
EAST BANK ZONE
With a sold out EBB Stadium on Saturday, precautions have been made to prioritise supporter safety and ensure there is no overcrowding in any of our stands.
As a result, an East Bank Zone has been created and will be enforced at the top of the ground.
Wristbands will be given to supporters with an East Bank ticket at the turnstiles and these will then allow you to enter the top end of the ground. There will be strictly no admittance unless a wristband is shown.
Once entering the EBB Stadium, there is no need to go straight up towards the East Bank, however, there will be strictly no re-admittance to the East Bank Zone. Extra facilities such as an additional Burger Van and portaloos have been provided alongside the Hogs Back Builders East Bank Bar that will be open as normal.
We would also once again like to remind our supporters that you will need to arrive earlier than usual in order to guarantee being in place for kick-off.
All East Bank supporters must enter the ground via Turnstiles 5-8.
All of this information will be signposted on the day.
SUPPORTER BEHAVIOUR
As Aldershot Town supporters, you are representatives of our football club and with a sell-out crowd tomorrow, we are incredibly excited to receive your support in full volume. We urge the vast majority of our fanbase who do us proud up and down the country to help ensure tomorrow’s game is enjoyed by all in a safe and legal manner without detriment to your passionate and incredible support.
The Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc.) Act 1985 prohibits drinking alcohol in view of the pitch at football matches in England and Wales. Despite making extra bar facilities available, stewards will be on hand to ensure that no alcohol is taken away from our bar areas and in view of the pitch. Anyone caught breaking this rule will be punished and could see the club face further punishment.
Under the Football (Offences) Act 1991, it is illegal for any supporter to enter the field of play at any point and we must remind supporters that anyone found guilty of this will face a significant banning order. Please stay off the pitch at all times.
Discriminatory behaviour and chanting has no place at the EBB Stadium. We ask all supporters to report any instances of this to their nearest steward immediately. The Club has already received a substantial fine for sectarian chanting earlier this season and would be subject to harsher punishment should a similar instance reoccur.
The Club follows a strict zero-tolerance policy on pyrotechnics and missiles of any kind. Extra searches will be taking place (so please allow extra time when entering the stadium) and with a heavy police presence at tomorrow’s game, anyone found in possession of a pyrotechnic will be handed straight to any on-duty police and will receive a banning order and criminal charges.
