With a lot of extra things going on for our final Vanarama National League game at the EBB Stadium, we’ve drafted together a Matchday Guide to bring you up to date with some of today’s events.
FREE Blood pressure checks
NHS cardiovascular teams will be present behind the North Stand, by the Side Entrance to the ground, conducting FREE blood pressure checks.
These will only be available pre-match, so please arrive earlier than usual if you wish to benefit from these free health checks.
Minutes applause for members of the Shots Community to have passed
We ask supporters to be present slightly earlier than normal to ensure that they are able to join in the minutes applause to remember members of the Shots Community that have passed recently.
The names of those that have been put forward will be shown on the scoreboard during the applause – due to their being a large number, we are unable to read them out over the tannoy.
Half-time charity crossbar challenge
Our usual half-time entertainment crossbar challenge will this week be raising money for charity, thanks to the Shots Foundation.
The challenge will be supporting the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, Open Sight Hampshire, Parkside – Aldershot & District Learning Disabilities and the Royal British Legion.
Lap of appreciation
The players will be visiting all sides of the EBB Stadium after the final whistle in a lap of appreciation.
Once they finish their lap and have made their way back to the dugout area, a number of end-of-season awards will be given out to our first-team squad from various supporters groups.
We would appreciate any supporters who are able to stay behind and show their appreciation to the first-team players and staff as an incredible season draws to a close.
