HOW DID THEY DO LAST SEASON?
The Ravens finished 7th in the National League last season, with 69 points, making the play-offs, where they lost to eventual winners Hartlepool United.
HOW DID SHOTS GET ON AGAINST THEM LAST SEASON?
Bromley took all six points in the games between the two sides last season. At Hayes Lane in January 2021, under Neil Smith, goals from Jack Bridge and Michael Cheek saw the Ravens win 2-0 in a game televised live on BT Sport. In May 2021, with Bromley pushing for the play-offs, a first half Cheek goal put them ahead, only for Shots to level through Harry Panayiotou, who later levelled again following James Alabi’s strike. Joe Kizzi popped up in the dying moments to grab a late winner for the Ravens and help secure their place in the end of season play-offs. This season, Bromley have already visited the EBB Stadium, coming from behind to win 3-2.
WHO’S THEIR GAFFER?:
Following the surprise sacking of former Ravens Manager Neil Smith in March 2021, with the Ravens sat in the final play-off spot, Andy Woodman was appointed Bromley FC Manager. 50-year-old Woodman has 16 years of coaching experience, mainly in the Premier League. A former player, Woodman appeared for the likes of Crystal Palace, Brentford, Southend United and Colchester United. His Coaching journey began in 2006 with Rushden & Diamonds, where he was Assistant Manager. Re-uniting with former teammate Alan Pardew, he then became a Coach at Crystal Palace. Most recently, Woodman was head of Goalkeeping at Arsenal, a position he had held since 2018. He steered Bromley to that same 7th place finish last season and has the highest points-per-game accumulation in the National League since taking the helm at Hayes Lane.
WHO’S DEPARTED?
Woodman released 10 players in the close season, including Kizzi, Jack Holland, Frankie Raymond and Jack Bridge.
WHO’S STAYED?
10 players remain contracted at the club from last season, including Keeper Mark Cousins, Defenders Chris Bush & Byron Webster, Midfielders Billy Bingham & Luke Coulson and Strikers Cheek & Alabi. Cheek – the only National League player to score double figures in goals for the last four seasons, has already achieved that feat this term and is currently on 15 for the season!
WHO’S ARRIVED?
Woodman has now brought 17 players to Hayes Lane this season. Most notable are; Defenders Joe Partington (Eastleigh) and Omar Sowumni (Colchester), Midfielder Sam Skeffington (Millwall, but was on loan at Barnet last season), Winger Harry Forster (Watford, on loan at Hayes Lane last season) and striker Louis Dennis, who has returned to the club after a spell at Leyton Orient. Most recent signings are Walton & Hersham striker Palace Francis (14 goals this season for them) and Scott Wagstaff from Aldershot Town, who scored on his debut last weekend. Neither Francis, nor Wagstaff will be involved on Saturday, as both will be cup-tied.
ANY EX-SHOTS?
Both Wagstaff and Joe Partington have worn the red & blue of Aldershot Town. Partington made 8 appearances on loan from AFC Bournemouth in 2014, scoring 1 goal.
WHO’S GOT THE WHISTLE?
Saturday’s referee is Elliot Swallow. This season, to date, he has taken charge of 6 National League matches, showing 26 Yellow Cards and 0 Red Cards. He hasn’t refereed The Shots yet this season. He took the middle in Bromley’s 3-2 home defeat to Borehamwood in September.
HOW TO GET TICKETS:
We would like to remind both home and away supporters of our ticketing/match-day protocols HERE.
Our Ticket Office will be opening on the day of the game from 11am for home supporters who would like to purchase on the day of the game, (we advise fans planning on buying tickets on the day to arrive earlier). We further encourage supporters to pre-book their tickets via our upgraded Flowte ticket website HERE to avoid queues on the day.
With our Flowte ticket website, supporters can pick their exact seats and have their tickets emailed to them which can be scanned off a smart phone or printed off before the day of the game.
We will NOT be accepting payment at the turnstiles but for supporters who decide to attend closer to the game, they will be able to purchase their tickets via the Club Shop/Ticket Office in person through cash, card or contactless payment.
Following this, please use the scanners on the turnstiles to enter through to the ground once they’ve collected their ticket.
Turnstiles will open at 1:30pm.

With this being an FA Trophy game, ticket prices have been slightly reduced with details as follows:

If you don’t order your tickets before Wednesday 12th January 5pm, then ticket prices for the Bromley game will be:

Away Supporters
• Tickets for away fans will not be available on the turnstiles on the day of the game, they must be purchased online or from the ticket office.
• All Bromley F.C. Supporters will enter the ground via Turnstile 4 at the front of the ground. This game is not segregated.
• Disabled/Carers should be booked in advance via our ticket office, but if they arrive on the day those people need to purchase their ticket from the ticket office. We have limited wheelchair spaces, so we advise supporters are advised to reserve them prior to the game.
• Any planned Supporter Coach travel needs to be advised to Aldershot Town in advance so that coach parking can be organised and planned.
• For this fixture, away supporters will be seated in the Away Seating in the South Stand and the Covered Terrace.
• There will be catering units available on the day of the game.
