CLUB STATEMENT: Welcoming fans back to the EBB Stadium

With the return of the new Vanarama National League season on the 21st, commencing against Chesterfield FC at home, we will be back to full capacity at the EBB Stadium.

However, with the ever-present threat of Covid, we would ask all supporters to where possible wear masks and respect social distancing. To remind you this is a request and is not mandatory. We ask that everybody is considerate and sensible during this difficult period.

This season sees a return to normal capacities for football at our level, and (subject to current legislation), no mandatory restrictions or requirements are in place for spectators whilst within the stadiums, which we are sure will be welcomed by the majority of spectators across the sport.

Hand sanitisation will still be available around the stadium and some directional aids such as one way signage for entry and exit of toilets will still be in place and limits on numbers inside the toilet blocks will remain.

One area where distancing is still mandatory across the Vanarama National League is for the playing and coaching staff, who will continue for the foreseeable future to be working within a “Red Zone” bubble and will remain separated from any direct contact with spectators and other stadium staff.

In order for this to be possible, some seats behind the dugouts will continue to be used as they were last season for the players to occupy and this will unfortunately mean that a small number of season ticket holders who normally sit in this area will have to be relocated for now. These season ticket holders have been contacted directly.

If the rules should change during the season, then those supporters affected will be offered the chance to return to those seats.

Please note that turnstiles will open at 1:30pm with subsequent evening games opening at 6:30pm.

We will be encouraging supporters to pre-book their tickets via our upgraded Flowte ticket website. With this, supporters can pick their exact seats and have their tickets emailed to them which can be scanned off a smart phone or printed off.

We will not be accepting payment at the turnstiles but for supporters who decide to attend they will be able to purchase their tickets via the Club Shop/Ticket Office in person. These tickets can be bought for cash, card or contactless. Once a ticket has been bought, supporters will then enter the ground through a turnstile where their newly-purchased ticket can be scanned.

We have modified the Ticket Office on a match-day with extra staff and extra counters to minimise queues. What would help considerably would be for supporters buying tickets in this way to arrive at the ground a few minutes earlier than normal.

We would also like to take the time to remind supporters of our new pricing structure going forward. With updated Concession categories and in replacement of our Under 11s Go Free scheme, we have now introduced new Family Ticket as shown in the full pricing list below:

  • Adult £20
  • Concession (Disabled + Carer, Senior (over 65) £16
  • Junior (17 & under) £7
  • Family Ticket (2 Adults, up to 3 Juniors) £45
  • Family Ticket (2 Concession, up to 3 Juniors) £40

We hope that all our supporters will be happy to be back and will appreciate the near to normal enjoyment of their visit and we further hope that they will understand and support the very small number of requests that the club asks of them and the minor changes that are still required.
