The Coronavirus outbreak has created unique problems all of which concern health and safety and as a consequence of the current guidance when we are able to reopen the stadium it will be with a much reduced capacity. We envisage adequate standing area but seating availability will be particularly tight.
Our aim is to maximise the space permitted but this will involve, in seated areas, alternate rows of seats remaining empty and a further two seats remaining empty between supporters not part of the same household or ‘bubble’. A bubble has a maximum of 6 people and can comprise at most people from no more than two households. Do look at the latest ‘bubble’ definition online if you are unsure as to whether you and those you come to the football with qualify to be in a ‘bubble’. The club is keen to accommodate ‘bubbles’ as this will improve our seating utilisation.
We are therefore asking those who have purchased ONLY Seated Season Ticket Holders who want to be able to be seated with those you normally attend matches with to fill in this survey to assist us. If you have a relative or friend who doesn’t have internet access, if possible, please complete this survey on their behalf.
If you have already been listed in someone’s social bubble you are not required to complete the survey. Anybody not listed within a social bubble or who does not complete this survey will be assumed to be in a single social bubble and will be seated alone.
Alternatively if you cannot access the survey or have any questions please email matt.wigman@theshots.co.uk, the cut off for responding is a week today (Friday 11th September @ 3pm). We will try our hardest to meet your wishes but with so many seats inevitably unavailable please understand if you’re asked to move to the next best alternative.
All areas of the ground are planned to be open for spectators except much of the seating area behind each dugout which is required as an overflow for players and support staff who normally sit on the bench.
Season Tickets are still the only way to guarantee entrance to league games and can still be purchased for all areas of the stadium, more information on how to purchase a season ticket can be found HERE! We can also offer a 23-game guarantee which means if we are required to play a game behind closed doors you will not miss out and a game the following season will be free for you.
Thank you for your support in these difficult times. For many of us the last six months has been a real challenge. Hopefully our faces will light up a little more when we are back at the EBB stadium!
