Aldershot Town legend Paul Shrubb will have a funeral service held in his honour this Thursday following his saddening passing on May 28th.
The following details on the funeral service have been provided by Paul’s family:
The funeral will be held this Thursday 2nd July at 11.30am at Aldershot Crematorium.
Due to the current situation, the actual service is for family only.
However, Paul will be at Aldershot Town’s EBB Stadium between 10:40 and 11:00. His procession will come into the EBB grounds and go back out and travel along the front of the stadium.
Club officials only will allowed to be present inside the ground to see Paul as he visits the EBB one last time, in a place he will be remembered so fondly.
Then, for anyone wishing to pay their respects on the day, Paul will be driven out of the bottom gate outside the front of the club before the funeral at around 10:55am, so if anyone would like to stand along the road outside the club then you can do. However, please keep social distancing in mind if you do decide to do this.

Once lockdown has been lifted there will be holding a celebration of Paul’s life, which you will all be invited to once organised.
