Former Club Chaplain Mike Pusey honoured for services to Aldershot football

During half-time of our Good Friday 1-1 draw with Yeovil Town, a true Club Legend was honoured for his services to the Club and local community.

Reverend Mike Pusey was awarded a Service to Football Award by The Aldershot Divisional Football Association by Mike Gardner (Chair), Graham Brookland (Vice Chair) and John Marchment (Officer and former Chair).

Mike became Club Chaplain for Aldershot FC back in the early 1970’s and continued his role through the reformation of Aldershot Town before retiring at the end of last season.

Everyone at the Club is delighted to see Mike recognised for his services to not only our Football Club but also the local community as quite possibly the longest-serving Club Chaplain in world football!

Congratulations, Mike!
