Fenelon Becomes 12th Signing

Shamir Fenelon has become the 12th member of Gary Waddock’s squad to sign a new contract for the 2017-18 season.

The 22 year-old attacker joined The Shots from Crawley Town in July 2016 and has made 40 appearances this season, scoring seven goals.

Fenelon began his career with Brighton and Hove Albion and signed his first professional contract aged 17, in May 2012. In addition to three first-team appearances for The Seagulls, he enjoyed loan spells with Tonbridge Angels, Torquay United, Rochdale, Tranmere Rovers and Dagenham and Redbridge. Released by Brighton in the summer of 2015, the Republic of Ireland Under 21 international joined his hometown Club and made 32 appearances for the Red Devils in 2015-16.

Fenelon joins Cheye Alexander, Nick Arnold, Jake Cole, Will Evans, Jake Gallagher, Idris Kanu, Jim Kellermann, Matt McClure, Bernard Mensah, Scott Rendell and Callum Reynolds in remaining with the Club for 2017-18.
