Enjoy The Perfect Summer With The NCS

Aldershot Town’s Football in the Community Trust will be attending two local schools in the next fortnight to talk to children about this summer’s National Citizen Service project.

The Shots will be at Yateley School this Friday, 6 March, and at Frogmore Community College on Friday 20 March, offering all Year 11 students the opportunity of a lifetime – all for just £50!

Starting on 27 July or 3 August, two four-week courses full of leisure activities and healthy lifestyle options will take place during the summer, with one week at PGL’s purpose-built, 150 acre Liddington complex, near Swindon, followed by another week at Reading University. Each student will then complete a two-week Social Action Plan of fundraising and voluntary work in the local community.

With ample opportunities to try quad biking, archery, abseiling, climbing, sailing and more, as well as make new friends, gain experience that will boost your CV and give something back to the community, it is the perfect way to spend the summer.

Group A begin at PGL Liddington from 27 – 31 July, before moving to Reading University from 3 – 7 August and completing their two-week Social Action Plan from 10 – 21 August. Group B begin a week later, on 3 August, and complete their course on 28 August.
