Aldershot Town would like to thank Shots fan Wayne Piper after getting in touch to ensure the £1000 owed to the club was received and we are extremely grateful for his support.
This came after Wayne purchased a number of Vans from National League sponsors Vanarama and as a result, the reference scheme run by Vanarama gave the football club over £1000.
Aldershot Town have invited Wayne and a guest of his choice to attend a match at the EBB stadium in the EBB lounge next season as Mark Butler’s guest.
Commercial Manager Mark Butler also said: “What a fantastic gesture that Wayne has done.
“Things like this could slip beneath the radar and thanks to Wayne the club has gained substantial funds and I look forward to hosting Wayne in the lounge next season.”
