The Shots Foundation have provided some brilliant feedback from their Community Stand Scheme which has been run all season.
Over the course of the 23/24 season, just under 3,500 tickets have been distributed to our community free of charge.
We’re delighted to have seen a large number of local children get their first taste of the EBB Stadium with over 30 grassroots football teams and over 20 local schools benefiting from these tickets.
There were also two dedicated armed forces fixture in our games against Gateshead and Kidderminster Harriers, in which up to 500 tickets were distributed to local military personnel.
54% of the tickets given out over the course of the season were given to under 18s, helping work towards the scheme’s aim of getting tomorrow’s supporters to the EBB Stadium.
Feedback indicates that 38% of those who attended through the Community Stand Scheme have attended a fixture at the EBB since they received their free ticket, having not previously attended fixtures.
We’re also delighted to confirm that the Community Stand Scheme will be running again next season; any further information you need about the scheme can be found on the Shots Foundation’s website by clicking HERE
