Firstly, we’d like to apologise for the delay in bringing you the new 2022/23 replica shirts this season. Whilst we are aware we are not the only football club in this situation, we understand this year’s shirts are particularly special to you, the fans, and we want nothing more than to see you all wearing our colours for Saturday’s season-opener with Solihull Moors.
Unfortunately, as the week progresses, it now looks as though the majority will not be ready before Saturday. We have been fortunate to receive a small delivery including first-team kits and hope that at the very least, you will be pleased to see the squad wearing it in action on Saturday.
Whilst we have received a small number of supporters shirts, we believe that in fairness to all those who have pre-ordered, it is only right to release these for collection once all have arrived and been prepared.
We can assure you that those that have been pre-ordered and a significant number for sale from the club shop are currently in transit and should be ready to collect/for delivery/for purchase in the very near future. If they arrive before the weekend, we will be letting you know via the website and our social media channels when the shirts arrive and are available.
Please understand that the situation is of no-one’s fault and that all parties are sharing your frustration at the delays.
