Chelsea Face Must-Win European Clash

Chelsea’s Under 23 squad face a winner-takes-all clash with Swansea City at the EBB Stadium on Thursday, 22 December, with FREE admission to see The Blues complete their Premier League International Cup campaign.

Chelsea were beaten 1-0 by Dinamo Zagreb on Friday and now must beat The Swans to progress to the quarter-finals. In turn, victory for the Welsh side will see them top the group to qualify alongside the Croatians, who face Feyenoord on Tuesday.

Swansea City, whose squad features 13 youth internationals from across Britain, beat the Dutch in their opening group game, and then drew 0-0 with Zagreb. The Swans are top of Division Two of the Premier League 2, with ten wins from 12 matches including six in a row.
