Chelsea Host Man City At The EBB

Chelsea face Patrick Vieira’s Manchester City in a mouth-watering Barclays Under 21 Premier League clash at the EBB Stadium on Monday 26 October.

Kick-off is at 5.30pm, and entry is free for all supporters. With many future Premier League stars on both sides, this is the perfect half-term treat for young football fans. The match is also broadcast live on Sky Sports.

City’s Elite Development Squad, managed by former Arsenal and France midfielder Vieira, have seen four graduates make first-team appearances in the past 15 months, in Spaniards Jose Angel Pozo and Manu Garcia, Nigerian Kelechi Iheanacho and Mancunian George Evans.

Recent Chelsea Academy stars making their mark in Jose Mourinho’s first-team squad include Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Dominic Solanke, Ola Aina, Lewis Baker, Andreas Christensen and Isaiah Brown.

Any supporters or group leaders requiring a poster for this game should email steve.gibbs@theshots.co.uk to receive either printed copies or an e-flyer.

That is followed, on Friday 30 October, by a further home game against Tottenham Hotspur, for which admission is £3 for adults and £1 for concessions.
