Chelsea Begin FA Youth Cup Defence On Tuesday

After coming from behind to beat Manchester United in a thrilling encounter at the EBB Stadium on Friday, Chelsea’s Academy now turn their attention to the FA Youth Cup, with Tuesday’s third round tie against Cardiff City.

That is swiftly followed, on Friday, with FREE admission to their second Premier League International Cup tie against Croatian champions – and one of Europe’s most prestigious academies – Dinamo Zagreb.

The Blues’ Under 18 squad – who are unbeaten in 11 league games – have won the FA Youth Cup three times in succession, and five times in the last seven years, and now go for a fourth triumph in a row.

DNK, meanwhile, have already drawn 0-0 against Swansea City in their first Premier League International Cup Group D fixture, with a team featuring an array of Croatian youth internationals who may follow in the exalted footsteps of previous Dinamo academy graduates such as Luka Modric, Zvonimir Boban, Robert Prosinecki, Dario Simic and Vedran Corluka.

Chelsea complete their Premier League International Cup group fixtures against Swansea City on Thursday 22 December, whose squad features 13 youth internationals from across Britain.

Admission to the Cardiff City game is £3 for adults and £1 for concessions, with FREE admission to both Dinamo Zagreb and Swansea City fixtures.
