Aldershot Town have signed Fulham goalkeeper Andrew Dawber on a one-month loan.
The 20 year-old will provide competition for Dan Thomas whilst Phil Smith recovers from the groin strain suffered in Saturday’s match against Grimsby Town.
Born in Wigan, Dawber began his career with Accrington Stanley but, despite impressing on his first-team debut aged just 17, found opportunities limited. He enjoyed loan spells at Marine and Clitheroe and trained with both Liverpool and Manchester United during his time at the Crown Ground.
Having left Stanley in April, Dawber signed a one-year contract with Fulham in July 2015 and is part of the Under 21 squad at Craven Cottage.
Andrew will wear shirt number 22.
