Everyone at Aldershot Town Football Club is deeply saddened to have learned of the passing of our Chief Steward Martina ‘Tina’ Ashburner.
It was obvious to all that Tina’s love for The Shots came from the heart and it was her true commitment that made her the obvious choice to be promoted to Chief Steward so very recently.
Our thoughts are with her partner Jonny and her four children during this difficult time. As a Club we will miss her terribly and will honour her memory before the next home game against Wealdstone on October 1st.
Additionally, Tyler Cordner’s £200.00 Man of the Match cheque from last Saturday’s win will be donated to her family’s chosen charities of Great Ormond Street Hospital & The National Autistic Society.
Our condolences go out to all of Tina’s family and friends. May she rest in peace.
