Charlie Penman joined The Shots in September 2025 on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion.
The defender joined The Seagulls from Blackpool in 2021 and has progressed through their youth ranks, becoming a key part of their Under 21s side in their Premier League 2, EFL Trophy and National League Cup campaigns.
Penman has trained with Brighton’s first-team on multiple occasions since he first joined the South Coast side and was even listed as one of The Guardian’s 20 best talents at Premier League Clubs back in 2022.
