Gateshead took an early lead but goals from Kwame Thomas and Cameron Hargreaves turned the game around only for the home side to score twice in a minute on the hour to turn the game around again until Hady Ghandour equalised 15 minutes later. The Shots thought they won the game in the dying seconds but James Clarridge’s goal was chalked off controversially for a foul in the buildup.
