Welcoming our first Women’s Signings!

We’re delighted to welcome the first flurry of signings for our Senior Women’s First-Team ahead of their inaugural season!

You can now follow our Women’s Senior Team’s dedicated social media account on X HERE and on Instagram HERE with much more to come, including a Facebook page, in the future!

Erin Felton

A dynamic attacking player who prides herself on not only her goalscoring abilities, but also in creating chances for teammates, Felton will certainly be one to watch next term.

“I’m very excited for the season ahead with Aldershot Town Women’s FC!! This is a big step up and a good opportunity to challenge myself at a higher level. I’m confident that I’ll be able to keep the opposition’s defenders on their toes and as a team, we can get the ball in the back of the net!”

Aldershot Town Women’s manager, Aym’e Melham, predicts that Felton’s attacking traits may well make the forward one of the keys to a successful opening campaign:

“Erin is a fearless, energetic forward who thrives on pressure and isn’t afraid to take on a challenge. Her drive to test herself at a higher level is exactly the mentality we want in this squad. She brings pace, confidence, and a real hunger to make things happen in the final third. We’re excited to see her cause problems for opposition defences this season in an Aldershot shirt!”

Grace Fegan

A standout talent at various youth levels, including past teams, Fegan arrives as one of the most exciting members of this newly formed squad.

“I’m excited to announce that I’ve officially signed with Aldershot Town!” Said Fegan. “Having played football from a young age, and with previous experience in both Sunday league and university league football, I’m ready to showcase my commitment, determination, and relentless work ethic. I can’t wait to bring the energy to this new opportunity!”

Melham, spoke to the exciting potential of her new young star: “We’re thrilled to welcome Grace Fegan to Aldershot Town Women. Grace brings drive, passion, and a fantastic work ethic to the squad.”

“Her experience across different levels of the game and her hunger to develop further make her a brilliant addition to our inaugural season. We’re excited to see her grow and make her mark on the pitch”

Hayley Jordan

From the Slab to signing for our Women’s Senior team! Hayley Jordan has travelled all across the country following the Men’s team and will now be lining up in red and blue herself this season.

Jordan said on signing for the Shots: “As a life long Aldershot fan I’m delighted to have the opportunity to play for the women’s team! Looking forward to getting started!”

Aym’e Melham added: “We’re thrilled to have Hayley joining Aldershot Town Women’s team!”

“As a lifelong fan, she brings real passion and commitment to the squad, and we can’t wait to see her energy on the pitch. Hayley’s dedication is exactly what we need to push forward this season — watch this space!”

Hollie O’Brien

Living locally with a military family background there was only going to be one club for O’Brien, who claims she is raring to get going: “I’m excited to be joining Aldershot Town FC as a defender this season!”

“I’m a proud mum of two, a military wife, and work in a school supporting children with their learning. Outside of work, I love netball, staying active, and football is my way to switch off and reset.
Looking forward to the season ahead and giving it my all on the pitch!”

Melham, spoke glowingly to O’Brien’s discipline and work ethic, both on and off the pitch, saying:

“Hollie is a brilliant example of balance, grit, and heart. As a dedicated mum, military wife, and someone supporting young people in education, she brings a calm resilience and a team-first mindset that shines through.”

“On the pitch, she’s a strong, composed defender with a real presence. We’re proud to welcome Hollie to Aldershot Town FC – her attitude and determination will be a huge asset this season!”

Jessy Woffinden

Something of a journeywoman to this point in her career, hard-working Woffinden will be bringing discipline to the side, and hopefully finally finding her long-term home in North Hampshire.

“Football has always been a part of who I am. Whilst my sisters were all dancing and being gymnasts; you’d find me on the football pitch with the boys – covered in mud. From a young age, the game has taught me resilience, passion and teamwork.”

“I’ve had plenty of experience with plenty of teams however I am excited for a new start, a new team and new memories! Let’s go!”

Melham, believes that Woffinden’s wealth of experience can enrich the squad as a whole, adding:

“Jessy brings a warrior spirit to the squad — both as a proud mum and a serving member of the military, she knows what it takes to dig deep and lead by example.

“Her passion for football runs deep, and her experience across multiple teams shows in her confidence, grit, and team-first mentality. We’re excited to welcome her into this new chapter at Aldershot Town and can’t wait to see her bring that fire to the pitch.”

Shannon Mather

Having arrived from nearby Badshot Lea, Mather has been plying her trade in the local area for almost as long as she can remember, and will be relishing this hard earned chance to finally represent the Shots.

“I’m really looking forward to being a part of the new chapter in women’s football at Aldershot Town. I have been playing football since the age of 7, most recently playing for Badshot Lea Ladies.”

“My favourite position is Centre midfield, however Centre back is probably my best position!”

Melham, had this to to say about her new central stalwart: “Shannon is a natural leader with a strong voice on the pitch. Her experience, composure, and ability to organise those around her make her a key addition to our squad.

“With a background at Badshot Lea Ladies and years of playing behind her, she brings versatility, whether in the heart of midfield or at centre back. We’re delighted to have her on board for this exciting new chapter at Aldershot Town Women’s FC.”
