We’re pleased to confirm the loan signing of James Clarridge from Watford until January 1st.
The 21-year-old defender is a former England youth international having represented the Three Lions up until Under-18 level and joined the Hornets in February 2024 after spending his youth career at Nottingham Forest.
Clarridge spent the end of last season on loan with St Albans City and made 21 National League South appearances.

On Clarridge’s signing, Head of Recruitment, Jamie Hedges, said: “James is a player we’ve monitored for a while, and one we’ve been keen to get in all summer.”
“He’s a talented centre-half, with a good pedigree and upbringing who had a good loan spell last season at St Albans. He’s comfortable on the ball, mobile & physically competent.”
