Aldershot Town are once again proud to host Step by Step’s annual Sleep Out at the EBB Stadium on Friday 22 June.
The family-friendly event, which has raised over £70,000 in seven years, invites people to give up their bed for one night so that young people don’t have to sleep rough for weeks and even years.
The charity welcomes community groups, corporate teams, families and individuals to swap their beds for one night and take on the cold, hard floor of the East Bank.
This year, the event is sponsored by HRG in Farnborough, meaning that every penny raised through sponsorship and registration fees will go straight to the accommodation and support services for 11 – 25 year olds that the charity provides.
More than 80 people of all ages took part last year – the youngest being just four years old – and the eighth Sleep Out promises to be the biggest and best yet, with an outdoor cinema screening, live music, a magic show, wood-fired pizzas, face-painting, ice-cream, games, competitions and lots more!
Early Bird registration prices, available until 31 March, are £8 for adults and £6 for children, with teams of four costing £26. Click here to book your place on the East Bank and find out more information.
Step by Step passionately believe in supporting local young people aged 11 to 25 who are going through hard times, including homelessness.
