Aldershot Town thank the 40 supporters who joined manager Barry Smith and Head Groundsman Andy Nunn in Sunday morning’s Working Party to tidy the Electrical Services Stadium.
With the pitch already in fine condition, this work has gone a long way to ensuring that the stands are also ready for the new season and Barry’s first game in charge.
“Everybody did a fantastic job today, and we trust that they also enjoyed the barbecue,” said Director Brian Bloomfield of the event organised in conjunction with the Shots Trust. “It is crucial that this season we kick on both on and off the field and today is hopefully the start of the Club and fans coming together for the long term benefit of Aldershot Town. I genuinely have a good feeling for the upcoming season and look forward to the next event in three months’ time.”
