WELCOMING HAKEEM SANDAH

Aldershot Town are delighted to announce the signing of 21-year-old winger Hakeem Sandah, who joins from Farnborough FC.

Hakeem, or ‘Haks’ as he prefers to be known, has enjoyed a storied young career thus far, gaining experience through the youth academies of Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Huddersfield Town before joining Colchester United, making three appearances for the League Two side in all competitions across the 2024/25 season.

After loan spells with both Maldon & Tiptree and Walton & Hersham, Sandah opted for a permanent move to Farnborough last summer, where he would turn plenty of heads in the division. Grabbing ten goal contributions as the Yellows’ successfully avoided relegation, Haks would pick up both the club’s Player’s Player and Supporter’s Player of the season awards following the conclusion of the campaign.

A right-footed winger capable of playing on either flank, Sandah’s goal catalogue shows he is accomplished in one-on-one situations, with end product to match. Scott Davies had this to say about his new wide man:

“To get Hakeem on board with us is great news. There’s no doubt that he will get fans off their feet and excite them with his pace and trickery.

“We definitely battled hard against other National League clubs to get him through the door and I’m delighted that it’s finally done after a month of talking.

“He was a standout player in the NLS last season and I believe he’s more than ready to make the step up and eventually progress even further up the football pyramid.”

Making the short trip to Aldershot, everyone at the club wishes Haks a great settling in period, as he makes an undoubtedly deserved climb to step-one football.

Hakeem’s home, away and third shirts are all available for sponsorship ahead of the 2026/27 season. To enquire, email: [email protected]
